Introduction :
Swine flu is like a regular seasonal flu.It is caused by swine Influenza A HINI Virus.This spread mainly by droplets created while sneezing and coughing ,by a person who is infected by the virus which causes swine flu.
Swine flu conditions in Delhi:-
Now the swine flu has spread to all over the country including the capital of our country “Delhi”.The condition is not worse hit delhi as there are only two death cases reported (a 31 year old man and a 38 year old woman)as on thrusday,as compared to other cities like Bangalore and pune which are the two more cities which is hit worse by the swine flu.
The father of the victim told that his son died because of the poor facilities in the hospitals,the oxygen cylinders were empty.But delhi health minister kiran walia denied of the statement given by the father of the victim that there were no facilities at the hospital.
He also added that the patients should move to the private hospitals,and the victims did not got their treatment in private hospitals which is the cause for their deaths.
At present there were 228 confirmed cases of which 117 were cured and another 58 patients is under treatment.
Many schools in delhi are planning to shut their schools for some days to prevent spread of swine flu.

There are 14 hospials in delhi that have the facilities for swine flu treatment.Beside that delhi government has issued a helpline for swine flu regarding any information like about hospital contact information. Ph No:23921401.The government also hela a meet on Sunday to discuss measures to crub the spread of HINI Virus.Dehi government has also set up another five laboratories to test samples of the swine flu virus.
Delhi chief minister Shela Dixit told the people of Delhi not to panic but to take the precautionary measures.
Precautionary measures to be taken to avoid swine flu:
Dos & Don'ts
Avoid close contact with people who might be ill.
Avoid spending time in crowded settings
Improve ventilation by keeping windows open
Get adequate sleep, eat nutritious food, drink plenty of fluids and keep active
Don't shake hands or hug when greeting people
Precautions
If you suspect that you have the flu, stay home so as to avoid spreading the infection
Even if you have regular influenza, stay home so that the infection doesn't spread
Don't travel if you have influenza symptoms
Dispose of the tissue you are using carefully, the virus can survive for a few hours
