Swine Influenza is also called as swine flu, pig flu, or hog flu is an infection caused by one of the swine flu viruses
Swine Influenza Virus (SIV) is spread through pig's but Transmission of virus from pig to human is not common and it don’t lead to human influenza, people with regular exposure to pigs are mostly affected.
This swine flu passes from human to human. Symptoms of swine flu are fever, chills, sore throat, head ace, Caughing, muscle pain and general discomfort. The main route of transmission is through direct contact between Infected and uninfected animals.
These close contacts are particularly common during animal transport
This Influenza can be classified into 3 catagories:
Influenza A
Influenza B and
Influenza C
Two or three immunization will be required for swine flu
Influenza A is the first stage of the fever were it does not affect the person much.
Influenza virus strains are given an H number n an N number based on the form of proteins found on the strain there are 16H and 19 sub types found in birds
Influenza A subtypes are H1N1 H1N2, H2N3, H3N1, H3N2 here (H1N1, H1N2, H3N2)are the most commonly spread worldwide
Influenza virus are categorized according to the proteins found on the surface of the virus
But structure of this protein differ from strain to strain
Influenza B is the second stage i.e., a person with sore throat and high fiver might tested with their swab and then given
Treatment these influenza B can also be further categorized under certain circumstances
Influenza C is the third stage were a person might loose his immunity and has to be isolated from others the infected person is strictly asked to ware mask to prevent the spread of the virus from one person to other and
He has to be give treatment and has to be given medicines accordingly
The most subjected medicine is Tami Flu
Prevention of Swine Influenza has three components
Prevention of Swine
Prevention of transmition to Human
Prevention of Spread to human
We have to keep our hands clean always because prevention is better than cure
Avoid touching your mouth and nose
Avoid contact with ill people or the person who is infected.
Reduce the time spent in crowded places
Keep your place ventilated so that fresh air comes in your place
Practice good habits and sleep well, include nutritious food in your diet
Keep your self physically fit and healthy
About using mask: if you are not affected you don’t have to use mask but
If you are taking care of a sick person u can were mask don’t travel much if you are sick if you still want to travel wear a mask rest your self n take plenty of water .
Contact your doctors immediately as soon as you find ill so that it helps in spreading to others and can be controlled
Individuals should not buy medicines and eat by themselves without prescription .because it may lead to unknown diseases and side effects
