SWINE FLU HELP CENTERS IN INDIA
It’s official that Swine Flu has reached India’s shore. But it is really interesting to note the steps taken by Indian Government towards educating citizens on Swine flu symptoms/precautions.
The information presented here clearly speaks of the initiative being taken by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW).There are enough people who will create a perfect e-home for the Swine Flu pandemic in our country. But do we simply care? To come out with a very honest opinion – the government’s single point contact – National Informatics Center – for all such requirements isn’t simply geared up to be the “best”.
Are there not enough people who will create a perfect e-home for the Swine Flu pandemic in our country? Or do we simply don’t care? To come out with a very honest opinion – the government’s single point contact – National Informatics Center – for all such requirements isn’t simply geared up to be the “best”. There is never a dearth of information when it comes to the Healthcare sector. However, there is a ‘real need to have the right propagation mechanism in place’ - for both the public and private players in this space. I hope the agencies do not let this be treated like a localized spread of some disease. Its a “Pandemic”. Lets treat it like one. Enlisted below are the Swine Flu Help Centers throughout the country.

SWINE FLU IN INDIA AND PAKISTAN
Swine flu stands as the most pressing challenge for the public health in India according to the officials at the Indian Health ministry. Although the symptoms of A(H1N1) have been proven to be mild in many of the known cases, people are still afraid of it.
Swine Influenza (also called Swine flu, Hog flu and Pig flu) is an infection by any one of several types of Swine influenza virus. Swine influenza virus is common throughout pig populations worldwide. According to the Indian health authorities about 800 people were tested positive for the A(H1N1) viral infection and 511 of the 800 had been treated successfully. Following the increase in the infections across the country, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ordered the health ministry to co-ordinate action with state government.
. The Swine flu death toll in India has climbed to 80 with warning to people in worst to stay away from the crowded places. As many as 25 persons died in Pune alone and the deaths have been reported from Karnataka, Gujarat, Delhi, Goa, Rajasthan and Haryana.
The Government of India went on high alert mode in preparation for the possibility of the deadly swine flu reaching the Indian shores. The ministry of Health and Family welfare under the Union Government has decided to contact all the flu drug suppliers in India including Roche, Cipla, Ranbaxy, Hetero and Natco to check the status and availability of oseltamivir (Tami flu) to prevent and treat swine-flu. The India government has already stored 1 million tablets and plans to raise it to 10 million in next 15 days.
The government has identified nine Airports in India including Delhi, Bangalore, Cochin for screening foreign visitors. Health ministry has already issued an advisory to Indians against visiting to the flu affected areas such as Mexico, US, Europe.
Swine flu has not only threatened India but also its neighborhood Pakistan.
The Federal Minister of Health of Pakistan, on Monday confirmed the first case of H1N1 virus adding that the patient had recovered and the disease was not transmitted any further. As many as 25 suspected patients were screened for swine flu and the situation was under control, as all preventive measures had been taken in that regard, the minister stated while replying to a written question on the floor of the National Assembly.
The Health Ministry said that the availability of Anti-Vial drug is sufficiently available in Government hospitals to treat any patient of swine flu. Parents are informed by the educational institutes that children with swine flu symptoms might not be sent to Schools.
As the swine flu virus is the new virus no swine flu vaccine is available to prevent infection. Experts are already working on a swine flu vaccine though. The CDC has already provided a candidate vaccine virus to several laboratories and manufacturers so that they can produce pilot lots of swine flu vaccines that can be tested to make sure they are safe and effective.
The H1N1 virus so far has been no more deadly than the flu strains seen every fall and winter. And close genetic tracking of the new virus as it circled the globe in the past five months has shown no sign that it is mutating to become more virulent.
Swine Flu History
Swine Influenza is also called as swine flu, pig flu, or hog flu is an infection caused by one of the swine flu viruses
Swine Influenza Virus (SIV) is spread through pig's but Transmission of virus from pig to human is not common and it don’t lead to human influenza, people with regular exposure to pigs are mostly affected.
This swine flu passes from human to human. Symptoms of swine flu are fever, chills, sore throat, head ace, Caughing, muscle pain and general discomfort. The main route of transmission is through direct contact between Infected and uninfected animals.
These close contacts are particularly common during animal transport
This Influenza can be classified into 3 catagories:
Influenza A
Influenza B and
Influenza C
Two or three immunization will be required for swine flu
Influenza A is the first stage of the fever were it does not affect the person much.
Influenza virus strains are given an H number n an N number based on the form of proteins found on the strain there are 16H and 19 sub types found in birds
Influenza A subtypes are H1N1 H1N2, H2N3, H3N1, H3N2 here (H1N1, H1N2, H3N2)are the most commonly spread worldwide
Influenza virus are categorized according to the proteins found on the surface of the virus
But structure of this protein differ from strain to strain
Influenza B is the second stage i.e., a person with sore throat and high fiver might tested with their swab and then given
Treatment these influenza B can also be further categorized under certain circumstances
Influenza C is the third stage were a person might loose his immunity and has to be isolated from others the infected person is strictly asked to ware mask to prevent the spread of the virus from one person to other and
He has to be give treatment and has to be given medicines accordingly
The most subjected medicine is Tami Flu
Prevention of Swine Influenza has three components
Prevention of Swine
Prevention of transmition to Human
Prevention of Spread to human
We have to keep our hands clean always because prevention is better than cure
Avoid touching your mouth and nose
Avoid contact with ill people or the person who is infected.
Reduce the time spent in crowded places
Keep your place ventilated so that fresh air comes in your place
Practice good habits and sleep well, include nutritious food in your diet
Keep your self physically fit and healthy
About using mask: if you are not affected you don’t have to use mask but
If you are taking care of a sick person u can were mask don’t travel much if you are sick if you still want to travel wear a mask rest your self n take plenty of water .
Contact your doctors immediately as soon as you find ill so that it helps in spreading to others and can be controlled
Individuals should not buy medicines and eat by themselves without prescription .because it may lead to unknown diseases and side effects
Prevention is better than cure

SWINE FLU TRANSMISSION
Swine flue is transmitted same as the other flu. Its symptoms are also similar. Cough, cold, fever are the general symptoms. If a person is suffering from the flu should be treated as soon as possible. If you suspect that you are near to anybody suffering from the flu then you should go away from him or need to wear a face mask. People should follow basic precautions to prevent the spread of any respiratory disease. Transmission of the flu virus is due to the pig. If transmission does cause in the human, it is called as the zoonotic. People with regular exposure to pig are at high risk of swine flu infection.
The main route of transmission is through direct contact infected and uninfected animals. These close contacts are particularly common during animal transport. Intensive farming may also increase the risk of transmission. People who work with poultry and swine, especially people with intense exposure, are at high risk of zoonotic infection. The direct transfer of the virus occurs either by pigs touching noses, or through dried mucus. The virus spreads quickly from the infected persons. Transmission may also occur through wild animals.
Prevention of the swine flu has three components: prevention in swine, prevention of transmission to humans, and prevention of its spread among humans.
The patients should be advised if they have kids and they are sick, they should keep them away from school. Patients must consult to there doctor’s about their illness. The face masks are very effective in preventing transmission of swine flu. People should be very careful while close contact with the people because this may cause the flu infection soon. Face masks should be considered for use by individuals who are usually in the crowed, both to protect their nose and mouth from other people’s cough. Transmission can be reduced by taking the useful precautions like washing their hands regularly from warm water n soap, avoiding close contact with the people’s outside etc. if someone in the home is sick, people should take the extra precautions to keep others in the house from getting sick. Thoroughly wash linens, eating utensils, and dishes belonging to those who are sick before reusing. And people shouldn't forget to wash their hands when done cleaning.
Health providers should advise their patients to make decisions about what their relative risk is and to mention the best treatment. People should also follow the advise and guidance of the local, state and public health officials. Surfaces especially tables, surfaces in the bathroom must be kept clean by wiping them down disinfectant things. Thoroughly wash the eating utensils and dishes belonging to those who are sick before reusing. And people should not forget to wash their hands after cleaning is done. Respirators should be considered for use by individuals for whom close contact with an infection person is unavoidable. This can include selected individuals who must have a care of the sick person. Take as much precautions to be protective from the swine flu.

Updations of Swine Flu in America
The most recent form of swine flu, known as the H1N1 influenza virus, was first detected in the United States in April 2009
Dr. Richard Besser, acting chief of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said swine flu is spreading just as easily as regular winter flu, with two hundred and twenty six confirmed cases in thirty US states.
Ten Health representatives from U.S.A have created joint action plans to deal with the swine flu virus.
US President Barack Obama joins leaders of Mexico and Canada Monday to plot counter attacks against swine flu.
Deaths from Swine Flu in Latin America – the worst hit region in the world.
Rose to over thousand three hundred peoples on Wednesday after government added to tolls from the disease.
The World Health Organization raised its world wide pandemic alert level to phase 4 on Monday.
And the WHO gives some updations for Swine Flu. These are,
Avoid public places and public transportation
Wear masks when go out
Not shake hands or kiss when we greet
Wash hands frequently and keep clean
Faith based Organizations prepared for expected return of Swine Flu could kill 90,000 in US peoples.
Updations of Swine Flu in Sri Lanka
The first Swine Flu case has been reported in Sri Lanka is an eight year old girl who arrived at the Bandaranaike Air Port from Australia.
Health official of IDH hospital Srilanka, said that they have found the fourth swine flu patient in srilanka. All these patients are from single family members who arrived Srilanka in last week from Australia.
Government says that they have taken their fullest attempt to detect AH1N1 infects at the Airport and Harbor. However some medical representatives accused the government that Swine flu detectors of Airport are out of order at the time.
There are ten hospitals listed for Sri Lanka to provide medicine for swine flu.
1. Apollo Hospitals
2. Asiri Hospital
3. Asiri Hospital, Matara
4. Asiri Surgical Hospital
5. Delmons Hospital
6. Durdans Hospital
7. Hemas Hospital
8. Minhas Hospitals (Pvt) Ltd
9. Nawaloka Hospital
10. Ragama Hospital
Srilankan health minister Mr. Nimal Siripalada Silva says that he has taken suitable steps on a H1N1 as well Dengue fever. But Srilanka's Medical Practitioners says Minister is almost silence on these two health diseases and failed to take much attention.
The total numbers of Srilankan Swine Flu Patients are increased to four this evening after another Two were confirmed as suffering from the Flu after getting tested.
The Srilankan office of the World Health Organization (WHO) provided Rupees fifty million worth drugs (Oceltamivir Capsules) for use in case swine flu breaks out the country.
The consignment of Oceltamivir Capsules expires in March 2011 and it should be stored between 15C and 25C.
Earlier, the WHO provided fifteen thousand capsules for the use of adults, Two hundred and forty bottles of syrup for children and two thousand N 95 masks.
One capsule costs Rs. 300 and one bottle of syrup cost Rs. 275. The cost of one mask is Rs. 135.

Swine Flu
The countries and overseas territories that have newly reported their first pandemic (H1N1) 2009 confirmed case(s) as of 13 August 2009 are:
Ghana, Zambia and Tuvalu.
As of this week, there have been more than 182000 laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1, 1799 deaths, in 177 countries and territories. As more and more countries have stopped counting individual cases, the case number is significantly lower than the actually number of cases that have occurred. The rates of influenza illness continue to decline in the temperature regions of the southern hemisphere, except in South Africa where it appeared slightly later than the other countries of the region. Active transmission is still seen in some parts of Australia, Chile and Argentina.
Areas of tropical Asia are reporting increasing rats of illness as they enter monsoon season, as represented by India, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Tropical regions of Central America, represented by Costa Rica and El Salvador, are also seeing very active transmission.
In the northern temperature zones, overall rates are declining in both North America and Europe though virus is still found across a wide area throughout both regions. High activity of the pandemic is being reported in 3 U.S. states and few countries of Western Europe.
It has been noted throughout the temperature zones of the southern hemisphere , wich are no passing out their winter season, that when pandemic began to circulate ,the relative importance of seasonal strains, represented by H3N2 in nearly all countries, rapidly diminished and pandemic H1N1 became the dominant strain.
Health services have been impacted in several countries. I n Australia, severe H1N1 cases are occupying a significant number of ICU beds, in some cases causing elective surgery lists o be postponed. In Chile, health services have been strained. A “Healthy Emergency” was declared in Argentina in early July, and the country has reported an unusually high case fatality rate compared to other nations. This continues to be a worry, although it might be attributable to reporting processes. It’s possible the nation is counting all community-acquired pneumonia deaths as due to pandemic flu, thereby over estimating deaths due to influenza.
The total global vaccine production of around 1 billion doses is now being expanded. Human testing has begun at least in Australia and China. However significant quantities of H1N1vacine will not be available until the northern hemisphere is well into the expected fall/winter epidemics.
Te Vaccine is likely to cause greater levels of immunity than H5N1 vaccine because most people have some “immune memory” to H1N1 family of viruses. One aspect of this immune memory is that it directs itself towards the 1st member of the H1N1 family that the person had encountered. A rather negative consequence could be that new vaccine stimulates ‘old’ H1N1 antibodies rather than new antibodies to the particular Swine component.
Vaccine efficacy studies are now also underway in the UK involving several hundred volunteers; A possible novel use of vaccine is to vaccinate children in attempts to break the chain of infection leading onwards to older siblings, pregnant women 1 million and NHS employees 1 million

PPREVENTION OF SWINE FLU
PPREVENTION OF SWINE FLU :
“Prevention is better that cure”. So by taking small
Tips we can avoid flue.
Using antibiotics:
By improving our immune system in the body we can avoid flu. To do so some ayurvedic medicines are available in the market. Using Infancies 100 ayurvedic medicine by five days we can avoid flu. So that we can improve our immune system and get safe from the virus.
Aromatherapy prevents flu:
In aromatherapy ayurvedic oils can be used to avoid virus. Basil oil is one of the oil; a normal person or virus affected person can use this oil for massage on the face and for hair.
Killing virus:
We are getting flu from H1N1 virus. So by killing that virus we can avoid the decease. Through cloths, air, food e.t.c we are getting flu. So by using powerful detergents we can kill virus. Keep clean your environment, so that virus can run away.
Flu for Pregnant lady:
Pregnant ladies can take more precautions to avoid flue.
Wash your hands and face when you come to your home. And avoid contact to face from your hands. Virus can get a way to get in side the body to do so.
Use masks to your mouth and maintain tissue paper when you cough or sneeze. Take more fruits and nutritious food.
Precautions to take when we are sick:
If some one gets the symptoms of flu, he could do some things to avoid flu virus. He has to maintain his things separate and take rest instead of going out side. He must wear mask to his mouth
How flu has spreaded:
Flu has spreaded from the pigs from Mexico. One small kid had got cough suddenly in the airport. That was the first flu case for men. So that it has spreaded through air and food particles
More people suffering from flu:
The people who have pregnancy, above 65 years, diabetes, and kidney decease people can get virus fastly, because they have low immune power.
If one person goes close to the infected people he must take an antivirus injection or medicine to prevent flue. Without the symptoms of the flu also we can take the medicine. Even animals also can affect from these virus. One example is first affected creature is pig. So also use medicines to our pets to avoid flue.
How flue spoils our immune system:
In our immune system white cells and red cells are there. White cell protects body from the virus attacking from out side. By improving the white cells in our body we can be safe from the decease.
To develop our immune system we have to take more fruits, notorious food.
By taking tulasi leaf we can develop our immunity.

Swine flu information
This is most dangerous flu in the world.First it is affected the small boy who is in mexico. But now that boy is cure. There's reason to be concerned about a second wave of the novel H1N1 virus, but state and local health officials say there are ways to protect yourself. H1N1 flu cases have been reported in many countries around the world, with most of the cases being reported from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Overall, the numbers of new cases of novel H1N1 flu in Mexico and the United States appears to be declining.
Health officials are recommending Arizona residents get vaccinated twice — once for the seasonal flu and then for the H1N1 virus, which is also called the swine flu.Vaccines for the H1N1 virus, also called the swine flu, are expected to be available later in the fall, possibly in October.
H1N1 virus will affect most people in India.Nearly 66 peopl are died.In PUNE-26,BANGALORE-15,CHENNAI-4.This are the details sate wise death. The state anticipates about 800,000 to 1 million doses of H1N1 vaccine will be available to that higher-risk subset of the population. There are antiviral medicines you can take to prevent or treat swine flu. There is no vaccine available right now to protect against swine flu.Even though some severe illnesses and deaths from novel H1N1 flu have been reported, most cases have been similar to seasonal flu and have not resulted in severe illness. Most cases have occurred in children and younger adults.

Swine flu
Swine flu, the dreaded disease virus that shook US, made its presence felt in India too. As the name suggests, the virus originated from swines. Swine flu usually doesn’t affect human but the present swine flu virus has traits from Eurasian swine, duck & human. This hybrid virus is the reason for the swine flu epidemic. It constantly changes its form and escapes the body’s protective anti-bodies which have been developed over years.
Swine flu symptoms are very much normal flu i.e., soar throat with fever, dysentery in some cases also difficulty in breathing. This is very confusing as normal fever can also be misinterpreted as swine flu and swine flu can also thought as normal fever.
Swine flu spreads through air. Also the virus is present in saliva droplets from the victim which are ejected from mouth when the victim coughs or sneezes. People in various parts of India are wearing masks in a bid to prevent swine flu. But many do have reservations against this measure as masks can effectively stop particles of diameter 0.3micrometer whereas H1N1 virus is 0.1micrometer. Thus solely depending on masks is of no use. Keeping hands away from mouth and face as much as possible is one way in preventing swine flu. Maintaining personal hygiene i.e., washing hands frequently with a medicated hand wash is also helpful. Apart from this, gargling with warm salt water twice a day is very effective. Though is sounds very simple, it is medically very effective. This doesn’t allow the virus to proliferate in throat. Having warm drinks frequently flushes the virus from throat to stomach, where it perishes in the digestive system. Cleaning the nose with cotton dipped in salt water doesn’t allow virus to multiply in nose.
Many doctors are of the opinion that detecting and curing swine flu in the early stages is easier. They are of the opinion simple care & hygiene at home along with tamiflu is far more effective than spending days in hospital. In the hospital the risk of exposure to the virus is more. Hence being quarantined at home for 10 days coupled with tamiflu tablets for 5 days & ample rest is the best cure. The victim should wear a mask so that other family members aren’t exposed to the virus. Also, small children shouldn’t be allowed to play near the victim.

About-Blackjack-Game
Blackjack is one type of gambling game, in this game the players doesn’t play against other players, the players play against the game broker. By counting the numbers on the cards the players can charge the value of their blackjack hand. In these cards King, Jack and Queen are the maximum valued cards. These three cards are having 10 points. Aces value is 1 or 11.According to the players’ needs the players can select its value. The other card values are same as the number mentioned on them.
In case of Online Blackjack Game, each player wants to get the highest total which matches up to the sum of cards that the broker holds. The sum of the cards should not go beyond 21, if that situation arises then the player must leave the game and that player is declared as a loser. In online Blackjack Game the two-card hand that contains one ace and the remaining card that contains the face value 10 is measured as the best hand.21 is the winning value for the players. Before playing online Blackjack game the player should be aware of some of the blackjack rules. The first step in the online blackjack game is to place the bets. Before doing the transaction of the cards players should put their bets. After completion of the bets by the players then the play starts.
Each and every player can get the two cards from the broker when they enter to play the online Blackjack Game. And the player can see the face value of both the cards. But in case of brokers they also contain two cards, in that two cards face value of one card is visible but the face value of another card of the broker is unseen. In online Blackjack Game the player who wants to play the game should make a decision that if the players want to strike or stand related to the goal of their cards and also related to the brokers showed card.
In this game the broker gives one extra card to the players when the player select for strike. After getting the extra card from the broker the player can increase his blackjack hand. If the player has very low card value then that player is advised to select for strike so that he can get the extra card. When the blackjack hand exceeds the value 21 that means the player has lost the game. If the player is fitting to the blackjack hand then only the player should select for stand.
The game of Blackjack is said to be tie if your hand is same as the Broker’s hand. In this situation no one wins. You neither win bets are lose money from your pocket. The Blackjack game has one more advantage of surrendering your game. Any where in the coarse of the game, if you feel you may lose your game and get bankrupt then you can surrender to the dealer. In this situation you will get half of your money back. In both the cases of surrender or win the game of blackjack ends.

Swine flu
Swine influenza is an infection caused by any one of several types of swine influenza virus. Swine influenza virus is endemic pigs. Transmission of swine flu from pigs to human is not common and does not always lead to human influenza. People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risks of swine flu infection. These strains of swine flu rarely pass from human to human.
The H1N1 swine flu is one of the descendent of the strain. The descendent of these viruses have circulated to human through 20th century. The direct transmission from pigs to human beings is very rare. Outbreaks in swine are common and cause significant economic losses in industry, primarily by causing extended time to market.
According to Centers of disease control and prevention the symptoms of swine flu 2009
is similar to influenza illness in general.
The most common cause of death is respiratory failure. Other causes of death are pneumonia, dehydration, etc.
Experts agree that hand washing can help prevent viral infections, including swine flu virus and other strains. Also avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth with hands prevent swine flu. Influenza can spread in coughs or sneezes but an increasing body of evidence shows small droplets containing the virus can be on table tops, telephones and other surfaces. Alcohol based gel or foam hand sanitizers work well to destroy viruses and bacteria. Any one symptom such as sudden fever, cough or muscle aches should stay away from work or public and should contact a doctor for advice.
Recommendations are to prevent spread of virus are using standard infection control against influenza. This includes frequent washing of hands with soap and water or alcohol based hand sanitizers, especially after being out in public. Chance of transmission is also reduced by disinfecting household surfaces which can effectively done with chlorine bleach solutions.
Transmission from swine to human is believed to occur mainly in swine farms where farmers are very close to live pigs. So farmers and veterinarians are recommended to wear a face mask while dealing with infected animals. The use of vaccines is a major method to prevent. Risk factors are smoking and not wearing masks when dealing with infected animals.
Infected people should stay away from public and avoid large gatherings. Influenza spreads by touching virus and then touching their own nose or mouth. The swine flu is contagious in s9ome people up to 5 days and up to 10 days in children.
Little treatment and supportive care is required. Veterinary effects are focused in preventing spread of viruses. Vaccination and animal management techniques are main in these efforts. Antibiotic are also used to treat this disease. If a person becomes sick with swine flu, antiviral drugs can make the illness milder and make the patient feel better faster. They may also prevent serious flu complications. For treatment antiviral drugs works best if started soon (within 2 days of symptoms).
Vaccines are available for different kinds of swine flu and vaccines against the new strains are being developed.

SWINE FLU
‘Swine flu’ is a highly contagious acute respiratory disease of pigs, caused by one of several swine influenza A viruses that cause regular outbreaks in pigs. Many countries routinely vaccinate swine populations against swine influenza. Swine influenza viruses are most commonly of the H1N1 subtype, but other subtypes are also circulating in pigs (e.g., H1N2, H3N1, and H3N2)
It spreads in the same way as seasonal influenza – through direct contact (being within one meter of an infected person) or indirect contact (touching a contaminated surface). People usually get swine influenza from infected pigs, however, some human cases lack contact history with pigs or environments where pigs have been located. Human-to-human transmission has occurred in some instances but was limited to close contacts and closed groups of people.
The number of people to die of swine flu in India has risen to 36 with the first deaths in the capital, Delhi, health officials say. Two patients, a 38-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, died in a hospital in Delhi on Thursday, officials say. Deaths have now been reported in eight Indian cities, with the death toll highest in the city of Pune. There are more than 2,400 cases of the H1N1 cases in India. Some schools have closed temporarily because of the flu. Earlier this month schools, colleges and cinemas in Mumbai were temporarily closed because of fears about the spread of flu.
The virus is thought to have killed more than 1,200 people around the world. The swine flu (H1N1) virus first emerged in Mexico in April and has since spread to many countries. Many of India's confirmed cases of swine flu have been among people who have returned from overseas travel. Passenger screening has been introduced across India's main 22 international airports.
Low immunity food items and diminishing proportions of turmeric in daily consumption especially in junk eatables, makes one more vulnerable to Swine-Flu like diseases according to ayurveda. Modern eating habits reduces our power to fight back the virus as items like Pizza and other fast foods don't contain even a pinch of turmeric and increasing intake of 'white food' is worrisome as it does not help to boost the immunity.
A new vaccine to fight the H1N1 flu virus that began sickening people around the globe past spring this year will be available in the U.S. in mid-October. Governments and health officials around the world are taking steps against the outbreak of swine flu that has killed scores of people in Mexico and spread to the U.S., Europe and possibly Asia. There are antiviral medicines one can take to prevent or treat swine flu. There is no vaccine available right now to protect against swine flu. So I would like to conclude it by

A DETAILED STUDY OF SWINE FLU
WHAT IS SWINE FLU?
Swine influenza (also called swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu) is an infection of a host animal.
HOW IS IT CAUSED?
• People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu infection.
• Usually swine flu does not affect humans, It is due to a new Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, which passes with apparent ease from human to human.
SYMPTOMS
• fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent

• People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu infection.
• Usually swine flu does not affect humans, It is due to a new Influenza A virus subtype H1N1, which passes with apparent ease from human to human.
SYMPTOMS
• fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent
• cough
• runny nose or stuffy nose

Swine Flu
It is a outbreak of a new strain of a Influenza a virus subtype H1N1, referred to as the “novel H1N1” fist defined in April 2009, and commonly called “SWINE FLU”. It is thought to be a reassortment of four known strains of influenza A virus one endemic in normally infecting humans, one endemic in birds and two endemic in pigs.
This is an epidemic disease which spreads from coughs and sneezes or by touching contaminated surfaces and then touching the nose or mouth.
It has symptoms similar to those of seasonal flu, which includes fever, sneezes, sore throat, coughs, headaches and muscle or joint pains.
There are antiviral medicines you can take to prevent or treat swine flu. There is no vaccine available right now to protect against swine flu.
One can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza by
Covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
Washing your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. You can also use alcohol-based hand cleaners.
Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
Trying to avoid close contact with sick people.
Staying home from work or school if you are sick.
The recent reports indicate that there are 2,242 cases infected in India alone. Since there are no vaccines found yet the death rate has counted to 34 till Wednesday in India where 7 cases are from Bangalore.

The term advertisement or in short word “Ad” is now becoming a upcoming source in the entertainment world or we can say that it has become a major role in this hi-tech world. So, in proper terms, we can define advertisement as a medium or source or a form of communication to sell products or services.
Advertisement has always been indicated as a fascinating world with lots of challenges and creativity. What you see through television or internet or hear through radio about selling the products or services is nothing but advertisement, which encourages the customers to buy/sell their products or services so that they could be benefited out of it. With the increase in productivity, in today’s world, advertisement does carry a good career option compared to the early centuries.
Advertisements are basically designed to enhance the utilization of those products and services by giving creative ideas and thoughts so that their products/services will be titled as a brand title. These advertisements are mostly placed by an advertising agency on behalf of the company or any firm.
To convey the advertisements message, there are many medium/sources where it can be delivered like television, radio, newspaper/magazines, cinema, hoardings in public places, internet, through your mail, mobile etc. Nowadays, this message is not only applicable to certain products but also it includes any sort of recruitments, election of different political parties, religious group or any public notice.
There are many types of advertisements which include the following:
Guerrilla ad - where a certain brand is shown in the entertainment field. For example, in the movie Krissh, the brand product Bournvita and Lays were shown in order to promote their sell.
Television commercials - Now this is the generally considered and also effective form of mass marketing which is being displayed in the television during their popular shows. Television ads consist of certain songs or jingles which attracts to the listeners.
Infomercials- The purpose of this advertisement is to create a desire so that the customers see the presentation which nearly carry the time length of that particular product/service and buy the product through the advertised toll-free telephone number or website. For e.g. Teleshopping
Before consumers noticed the advertisements, the market researchers have to know the targeted group and accordingly they have to plan the requirements so that their ideas will be creating an impact in the minds of the customers. So advertisements and marketing firms have used the psychological methods to sell their brands.
Nowadays, advertisements and media are becoming indistinct to each other that it has become a well-known partnership. Because of these dependencies, its impact on information and freedom of words is too difficult to obtain. Advertising has been categorized through five stages of development which are domestic, export, international, multi-national and global.
The key of success in advertisements is to identify the moment or ingredient of an ad then only the advertisements will be efficiently maximized in terms of economy as well as fame.

What can I do to protect myself from catching influenza A(H1N1)?
The main route of transmission of the new influenza A(H1N1) virus seems to be similar to seasonal influenza, via droplets that are expelled by speaking, sneezing or coughing. You can prevent getting infected by avoiding close contact with people who show influenza-like symptoms (trying to maintain a distance of about 1 metre if possible) and taking the following measures:
• avoid touching your mouth and nose;
• clean hands thoroughly with soap and water, or cleanse them with an alcohol-based hand rub on a regular basis (especially if touching the mouth and nose, or surfaces that are potentially contaminated);
• avoid close contact with people who might be ill;
• reduce the time spent in crowded settings if possible;
• improve airflow in your living space by opening windows;
• practise good health habits including adequate sleep, eating nutritious food, and keeping physically active.
What about using a mask? What does WHO recommend?
If you are not sick you do not have to wear a mask.
If you are caring for a sick person, you can wear a mask when you are in close contact with the ill person and dispose of it immediately after contact, and cleanse your hands thoroughly afterwards.
If you are sick and must travel or be around others, cover your mouth and nose.
Using a mask correctly in all situations is essential. Incorrect use actually increases the chance of spreading infection.
How do I know if I have influenza A(H1N1)?
You will not be able to tell the difference between seasonal flu and influenza A(H1N1) without medical help. Typical symptoms to watch for are similar to seasonal viruses and include fever, cough, headache, body aches, sore throat and runny nose. Only your medical practitioner and local health authority can confirm a case of influenza A(H1N1).
What should I do if I think I have the illness?
If you feel unwell, have high fever, cough or sore throat:
• stay at home and keep away from work, school or crowds;
• rest and take plenty of fluids;
• cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing and, if using tissues, make sure you dispose of them carefully. Clean your hands immediately after with soap and water or cleanse them with an alcohol-based hand rub;
• if you do not have a tissue close by when you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth as much as possible with the crook of your elbow;
• use a mask to help you contain the spread of droplets when you are around others, but be sure to do so correctly;
• inform family and friends about your illness and try to avoid contact with other people;
• If possible, contact a health professional before traveling to a health facility to discuss whether a medical examination is necessary.
Should I take an antiviral now just in case I catch the new virus?
No. You should only take an antiviral, such as oseltamivir or zanamivir, if your health care provider advises you to do so. Individuals should not buy medicines to prevent or fight this new influenza without a prescription, and they should exercise caution in buying antivirals over the Internet.
What about breastfeeding? Should I stop if I am ill?
No, not unless your health care provider advises it. Studies on other influenza infections show that breastfeeding is most likely protective for babies - it passes on helpful maternal immunities and lowers the risk of respiratory disease. Breastfeeding provides the best overall nutrition for babies and increases their defense factors to fight illness.
After diagonization
If it is H1N1 positive
A person should seek medical care if they experience shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or if a fever continues more than three days. For parents with a young child who is ill, seek medical care if a child has fast or labored breathing, continuing fever or convulsions (seizures).
Supportive care at home - resting, drinking plenty of fluids and using a pain reliever for aches - is adequate for recovery in most cases. (A non-aspirin pain reliever should be used by children and young adults because of the risk of Reye's syndrome.)
Is it safe to eat pork and pork products?
Yes. influenza A(H1N1) has not been shown to be transmissible to people through eating properly handled and prepared pork (pig meat) or other products derived from pigs. The influenza A(H1N1) virus is killed by cooking temperatures of 160°F/70°C, corresponding to the general guidance for the preparation of pork and other meat.
The five keys to safer food
- Keep clean
- Separate raw and cooked
- Cook thoroughly
- Keep food at safe temperatures
- Use safe water and raw materials
Words to public
Be hygienic and keep the socity also hygienic. Don’t spread the flu to others.
Give your hands to protect peoples from the killers like H1N1.
