Swine flu condition in Nagaland

In Nagaland the number of people getting admitted in hospitals for testing swine flu is increasing day by day. And people are getting panic about the spread of swine flu. So Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio taking several steps to control and reduce the swine flu cases.
On being asked what step the government is going to take on the outbreak of swine flu in the country, Rio said the government is not actually prepared at the moment. Even as the rest of the country is on high alert to check the spread of Influenza A (H1N1) commonly known as swine flu, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has admitted that the State of Nagaland is not prepared to check the attack
On the other hand, Rio said the government is taking precautionary measures

According to media report, working mask to protect from swine flu virus, it may not be possible to apply people in general. Therefore, if the central government and state government have determined to save lives of these people in the sub-continent .It is suggested that the government should immediately arrange on “TOP PRIORITY BASIS” for compulsory mass inoculation with to be immunized and “Vaccine” of swine flu (H1M1 virus) once and for all but government has no intention such programme till date; tested, examining suspected swine flu cases only

On aug 19, all 40 throat samples for suspected swine flu cases tested were found to be negative, health department official said.
Swine flu scares, triggered by the detection of two cases in the state on Saturday, by this scare many people wearing mark on street since Monday.

“it is good that there is high awareness among the people of nagaland, but many people over did it” a doctor said
